Check in and Check out using SafeEntry

 

A. Walk-In Customers only: When you purchased tickets at the box office, please note that we are requried by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Ministry of Health (MOH) to record your

    1. name,
    2. contact details

as part of the MOH's contact tracing efforts.

The information will be kept strictly confidential and will only be released to MOH for contact tracing purposes, if necessarry.

 

B. Online and Walk-In Customers: All patrons will need to do SafeEntry CheckIn twice -

1st SafeEntry -> To enter the cinema lobby

2nd SafeEntry -> To select the cinema hall at the usher point, before allowed to the cinema hall.

This is part of the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Ministry of Health (MOH)'s requirements to enable contact tracing efforts.

 

Contact Tracing

Download TraceTogether, an app by MOH and GovTech. TraceTogether is a mobile application developed to support existing nationwide efforts to combat COVID-19, by enabling community-driven contact tracing.

Reduced Auditorium Capacities

Seats are reconfigured and a capacity limit of maximum 50 seats have been put in place for each theatre hall to ensure a safe distancing of at least 1-metre between patrons. Patrons are required to sit according to prevailing safe distancing guidelines. (This does not apply to premium seat types that have sufficient safe distance between each seat.)

 

Enhanced Cleaning Procedures

Common touch areas will be routinely disinfected throughout the day and hand sanitizers are available at key touch points for use. More time has been allocated between shows to enable thorough cleaning of the halls.

 

Safe Distancing Standards

Please keep a safe distance of at least 1m apart before, during and after the movie and observe the 1m safe distancing during queuing. As a precautionary measure, directional signs and reminders will be posted throughout the theatre for guidance.

Safe distancing stickers are installed to ensure adequate safe distancing between diners in dining lounge.

 

Temperature Screenings

Expect mandatory temperature screenings at the point of entry to the halls. Staff have the right to deny entry of any patron with temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher.

 

Contactless Payment

Pre-booking of tickets and combos online is preferred. The use of automated ticketing machines, cashless or contactless payment at the box office is encouraged to reduce contact.

 

Keep Your Mask on

It is mandatory to keep your face mask on at all times. Patrons who violate the rules will be asked to leave the cinema immediately and no refunds will be given.

 

Concessions

Consumption of F&B is allowed inside cinema halls.

However, patrons must put on their masks at all times, including inside the cinema halls, when they are not consuming food and drink.

All food will be prepared and served safely by our staff wearing masks and gloves.

Single-use disposable packaging will be used for food and beverage.

 

 


Our Staff & Vendors

Daily Health Screenings

All staff will have their temperatures read at least twice per day during shifts.

 

Frequent Handwashing & Sanitizing

All staff will be required to wash their hands and use the hand sanitizers regularly.

 

 

Safety Measures for Premiere Theatres


  • Blankets provided in the premiere halls are individually packed in sealed plastic covers. Blankets are sent for cleaning once the package is opened.
  • pre-screen lounge will remain open for premiere patrons who wish to dine-in before the movie screening.
  • Tables in the dining lounge are spaced 1m apart to ensure adequate safe distancing between diners.
  • Seats, tables, tableware and physical menus will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every use.
  • Sales and consumption of alcohol is not allowed after 10.30pm daily. Sales of alcohol to guests attending movie screenings that start after 8pm will be temporarily suspended.
  • All patrons must wear a mask at all times at the pre-screen lounge and inside the cinema hall, except when consuming food and drink. Patrons can only remove their masks when food and drinks are served, and must put their masks back on when they are done with eating and drinking.



We seek your cooperation to visit us another time if:

  • You have been in contact with any person who was a confirmed case of COVID-19 infection in the past 14 days;
  • You have travelled overseas in the past 14 days
  • You are having fever or any flu-like symptoms such as coughing, runny nose and sore throat.

Patrons who do not adhere to any of these mandatory precautionary measures will be requested to leave immediately without a refund.



Shaw Theatres will continue to practice safe distancing as well as implement further precautionary measures as and when necessary.
